The NBA is almost a week in, and there has been major positives. I hope you enjoy, please comment and share!
Carmelo's Leadership- New York Knicks
Carmelo Anthony's leadership has shown vividly and immediately. Many reporters criticized Anthony on his leadership, even to a level where they said that's why he is ring-less. He made 10-28 shots which could be improved. I firmly believe the Knicks could brush off the injuries and make a mark in the NBA. Carmelo has mentored young players like James White. All in all, Anthony is labeled as a team leader, and not a "ball-hog." The Knicks will need to keep the momentum high so that they can't play harder and better.
Chris Bosh's Clutch Talent- Miami Heat
Chris Bosh released the beast on Saturday against the Denver Nuggets. He scored a total of 40 points and 7 rebounds. Bosh and the Heat escaped a close game, but in the end they won 119-116. No defender could stop Bosh, and that made him explode! As the Heat move on, Bosh will need to be more clutch for tougher opponents.
Damian Lillard 20+ Games- Portland Trailblazers
Rookie Damian Lillard is continuously having 20+ games. His agile and athletic skills have shown early, but they will need to stay with him. Lillard's first debut was surprising, as he scored 23 points with 11 assists. His cat-like instincts show on the court, while he burns defenders. No matter what, Lillard will pull up for a shot on you, while the defender is usually on the ground. He can break ankles and trick defenders. The Portland Trailblazers need someone like Damian to win games, but he will need to perform like he is now.
